The 3rd and goal play call will go down as one of the worst calls I've ever seen

Still trying to wrap my brain around this one...

Tie game. 4th quarter. Under 30 seconds left. GT is out of timeouts. We have the ball 3rd and goal at the 5(ish) hard line on the right hash.

We run a fade route to KJ in the corner and it's incomplete. We then miss the FG.

Why in the world do we not run on that 3rd down and direct Harris to get back to the middle of the field? We run there and if we don't score, we can now run the clock down and then kick at end of regulation. More importantly, if we re-center the ball it is a much easier kick for a struggling kicker. The short yardage on-the-hash FG can be very difficult - we put our kicker in a horrible position there.

So by throwing the fade route on 3rd down, we stop the clock, give our FG kicker a tough kick, and give the ball back to GT with time on the clock. And we did it just to score 7 instead of 3 in a TIE game? I legit cannot fathom how Enos decided that was the right decision.

Have to say I don’t mind it. We’re the worst FG kicking team I’ve ever seen. Go for the TD, we’re not playing for anything anyway.

Under different circumstances that would be called “aggressive” or “going for the throat.”

my daughter would call better plays on 1st and goal, under 1 minute knowing that there's NO WAY IN **** i'm letting the FG kicker decide this game. That and my daughter who's 12 yelling FAKE PUNT FAKE PUNT. Out coached at every position.

Horrendous call. As bad as the kickers have been, Baxa was 15-17 on XP, Davidson 5-5 and the other dude 2-2.

It would have essentially been an XP if they center the ball, instead we give our **** K a bad angle.

Well this is the same ******* who ran a Tight End sweep a last week or the week before and a double reverse somewhere around the 10 today. Nothing surprises me anymore.

every down should have been for the TD

being complacent with any idea of a FG was embarrassing

Angle or not...high probability he does not make it...based on his game performance.

Manny would own you in Madden. And you know his daddy got him that super fast internet

We put our kicker in a horrible position

College football caliber kickers make hundreds of pressure kicks every Saturday from Junior College to NCAA.

What you don't find, outside of Miami, is college kickers who miss multiple game altering kicks in a string of losses, with absolutley no accountability on them or their ST coach.

Baxa has missed every kick off the hash but we continue to not center the ball for him lol

And we need that other kid was going to get one blocked soon. Even the one he had last week was low af.

Yup. Take your shot on second down. Run it on third, center and run the clock out. Didn’t understand or doing that at all.
