Miami exited Early NSD with 21 blue chip recruits, out of 30 overall players. Let's have a look at how this compares to previous years of talent acquisition:

Just taken at face value, Miami is slightly down versus last year.

However we're including the transfer portal in the above graph, and in 2025 Mario brought in 19 players, 9 of whom were blue chip players.

Let's refine it further to just high school players.

In 2025 Miami had the highest number of high school blue chips in twenty years of tracking.

The 2025 class has the second highest average composite score of any class in the last twenty seasons. Furthermore, the classes in the last four years has averaged at least a .9063. Only one signing class (2018) prior to 2022 was above .9000.

Excluding the 2008 class, which is skewed by only one signee, this was the second highest rated offensive line haul of the last twenty years.
