I just looked on Twitter and Players in the NFL and college across the country are laughing at us. It’s crazy I finally see that nobody likes us for real.
Nick Bosa talking that **** on twitter. (What did we do to him?)
Jarvis Landry talking that ****. (What did we do to him?)
Antonio Callaway talking ****. (What did we do to him?)
When you have personalities with large audiences clowning you that hurts perception of your program in addition to the L that you were handed. Kids that look up to guys in the league clowning UM not going to want to come here.
This was a very important game for perception. I know we were “favored” but most people I met in real life still thought LSU was the goods. And that we were the underdog. I agree. We not winning these type of games until we prove it.
We have to beat a Clemson or whatever ranked team in the bowl game to get respect.
Hopefully we do get paired with another SEC squad. Us beating a USC, Washington, Ohio State, Or even Oklahoma doesn’t help us as much as a win over a highly ranked Bama, LSU, UGA, UF, Auburn. Public’s perception is that the SEC is still king. Hopefully we get matched up with one of them in a bowl game and not the WVUs of the world. Gotta play and beat real contenders.
