For years growing up in the 80s and 90s being a Canes fan in another state it was tough to get news or rumors. Thank you to the creators of this site for helping us out of Miami fans feel like a part of the fanbase. For years, I was so jealous of the way that Gamecock and Tiger fans here in SC could commiserate after a loss or celebrate together after a win.

Agree 100%. Having lived in TN for the last 40 years, it was difficult at best to get news about our Canes. Of course, the internet has given us many more options, but CIS is the best option for Canes news bar none.

Man, you missed out on the '90s as Grassy.com was THE best message board and place to talk Canes back in the day.... and there was a lot of commiserating back in that probation era, but we were all part of that mix for the rebuild and got to bring it all home together in 2001.

I was Canes305 there back in the day and wrote for Bryan Knoll for bot the Grassy site and CanesTime magazine.
