Terrell Davis on Mark Walton

Walton plays hard.

Don't know if the injury hurt him during his combine, but I think he'll find a place on a squad.

As a minimum, he could be a ST's demon.

Can’t be accurate.

There’s a dude on this site that swears Walton is no better than Yearby. And is probably worse ...

IF the Bears do trade Howard to the Phins for Landry, would be ecstatic to draft Walton. He would be perfect w Cohen in Nagy’s offense.
Hadn't heard about that possible trade. Hate to see Landry go, but $16M is a lot of cash!

Yeah it’s circling on The Bears’ sites that Howard doesn’t catch the ball well enough out of the backfield and he being a potential trade piece to get Landry.

Don't mean to derail my own thread, but do you think the Phins will bite? Gotta do something. That 16M tag will put them way over the cap unless they do some re-structuring - especially with Suh/

Here's a thought! Trade Landry to the Bears for Howard - they draft Walton. Phins need a slot receiver - draft Berrios!

You’re right, that $16m tag is tough to swallow brody. Honestly, I don’t see why they would bite. Williams and Drake have been cool. As much as I love Howard, he does drop a lot of wide open passes that would’ve resorted to big gains. But if they do bite, then I hope we do draft Walton. I think he will be excellent in Nagy’s offense....better suited.

Sounds about right...considering Gase loves rbs that can catch it out of the backfield (part of the reason he aint f with ajayi much). *sarcasm*....

But its the dolphins you never know...but i call bullshh*t

Last 20 years or so have been rough - both on us Canes and Phins!

On Total Access, TD said that he really liked MW and sees him as a 3 down back, likes his skill set, and probably a 3rd or 4th round pick.

Good hands, runs good routes, very good in pass pro. It is a throwing league. Will excel on special teams. He will be a value pick late 4th round or 5th. Hope he goes in the 3rd. The kid could use a bigger signing bonus.

Sorry about that. Was referring to Berrios. Should have been more specific.

that depends. Its not like they take any ol white guy that plays slot and expect them to excel.

Wes Welker, Julian Edelman, and Danny Emendola all were in the 90th percentile in the short shuttle. Very elite quickness and agility in the short area.

Does Berrios have that? I don't know.

Trent Taylor did. Cooper Kupp was strong in this. Daniel Braverman did, but hasn't exactly caught on or excelled. We'll see with Berrios, I guess.
