Tennessee is paying 3 QBs a combined $4M (was $5M when Nico was there) and can’t afford to retain the rest of their roster. Weird preference from Heupel to operate like that. He’d rather have 3 5 star QBs than retain his starting safety.

Their collective also dumps more money into women’s sports (basketball and softball mainly), plus men’s basketball, and baseball also higher than most other schools.

They be lucky to get 2 wins again this year. Only play i know left is that 5'8 qb he'll run for his life a couple games till he gets whacked. Them boys broke broke! Like there own fan said only way out is money and they have none it will only get worse. We shouldnt even consider them a rival anymore fau and fiu has more talent and money. They mind as well go back to bein a all girl school. Only nil u gettin out them boys is a section 8 trailer voucher😅🤣

Yes they are. Probably top 5-10 in the country. It’s just Heupel’s preference to keep this many QBs that is holding them back from filling the rest of their roster.

They let lots of DB talent walk over not that much money in the grand scheme, aside from Boo Carter who they ponied up for.

Now, they’re blaming Boo Carter behind the scenes as he supposedly leaked his NIL amount and encouraged them to hold out for more money. Now they’re walking and they can’t afford to stop the leak.

Obviously the one that wants to go to Miami is better than the one that doesn't want to go to Miami. Never been proven untrue. Just look at Jeremiah Smith, commits to Ohio State, now he's a bum.

I think it is clear the staff preferred Haulcy, he isn't coming here, so now it is on to Thomas.
 
They definitely need Thomas at S. I have already said multiple times, Miami wants Haulcy to play some S, but they particularly want him at Nickel. Then you understand the visits. If they miss on Haulcy, I expect 2 more DB's for sure. A week ago I was expecting 3 S's, counting Haulcy as a S.
