“You’re going against a very talented group,” “They bring speed and good route-running ability. They do a phenomenal job with their scheme. The quarterback is the real deal. He can get them the football on time. And it’s going to be a matter of just staying disciplined with their eyes and believing in themselves. And I think those guys are a strong unit that if they do what they’re capable of doing, it should be a good competition out there on the perimeter.”

Valiant attempt, coach. But even you don't believe that. Canes roll.

not sure they can on the sabbath
It started as a Baptist school and hence its religious type name. Interesting fact. Both Temple and Pitt started as private schools. In the 1960s both were having financial problems and deemed too large to fail because of their roles in legal and medical education and more. They became state related and now receive state appropriations but tuitions are higher than the state universities.

Makes sense. Temple's academics are far too superior for the Big XII.

They would have made that entire conference look like a bunch of ****** skools.
B12 is too forward thinking for a school whose name has religious connotations. B12, a place to call home permanently, wants everyone to feel welcome. Except for Colorado State, who would never get an invitation.

Many analysts believe the B12‘s only flaw is that it “cares too much”. To which we say, “love wins”.

Those who speak of relegation in modern college football, may have forgotten that Temple was relegated out of the Big East. I went to Lafayette and we played both Temple and Rutgers until the early 1970.s. They decided to go big time and , except for a flash here and there, they have sucked for 50 years.
