Team Media Guide (2025)

The annual media guide has been published for decades. Not sure if they are making large quantities of the "hard copy" any longer, but I've got media guides from the 1980s and 1990s when I used to write for The Miami Hurricane and the Ibis Yearbook.

****, you could even get a copy (for an extra $20) with your season ticket order. I'm sure I still have a few from the early 2000s.

A LOT of stuff changed (and not for the better) once Beta Blake took over as AD.

Same! Used to be an annual tradition for me - walk over to the Hecht and buy a media guide.

I grew up in Orlando, and when I was a little kid there were a few things I'd try to get every year before the season started. Getting a copy of the latest media guide was the holy grail. If I couldn't get that, I would try to get the schedule poster for my bedroom wall. This was before eBay.

My dad traveled alot and occasionally he'd go to south Florida for work.
So I'd beg him to go to the campus bookstore and grab me something, anything!

If I couldn't get either of those things, I'd spend some of the money I earned from mowing lawns in the neighborhood to buy a copy of Phil Steel's or Lindy's preseason magazine.

OP thanks for sharing the link to the current media guide!
Feeling a bit nostalgic clicking through it.

Those days are history. Not sure anyone has a print yearbook. Cost is prohibitive when can simply create online version. Back in the day, schools competed - ie SIDs - to publish the flashiest version.

We finally have a million analysts lol. Mario wasn’t playing around.

I still have numerous media guides from way back in the day. They gave us plenty of enjoyment from the hours we spent studying the data and background on every player.
I still have my Athlon, Lindy's and other magazines from the early 80's.... Game day programs as well.
