How do we feel about the TE’s and how they are being utilized ? I believe i saw two potential TD’s missed from #87 and #9
Beck didn't look for them. Haven't analyzed so I don't know if it was product of NDs defense or them just not being part of the game plan.

I think they were really tight with the play calling maybe.. he had some hot routes that he focused on nd when they were there he took off… reminded me of van dyke.. i hope as he gets more comfortable he starts to see the whole field

1 target to 9 and a first down. No additional targets. They were crashing the box and we didn't utilize him peeling off for a quick out/flats. Sad.
He missed him late in the game on the 3rd and 8 where we thought our guy got mugged. Lofton was running down the middle of the field 30 yards downfield and no one was with him. Closest guy had a terrible angle and no backwards momentum. Easy TD that Beck just didn't see.

It happens, but it can't keep happening.

Nothing new under Dawson.

Even Arroyo was underused last year. Although it’s hard to complain when the offense were so explosive, and there was so much production all around. Arroyo and McCormick caught quite a few touchdowns last year around the goal line. It’s not as if the offensive was struggling yet not using an elite tight end.

On one play they had lofton down the middle of the field wide open, Beck was under pressure and had to check it down or threw it incomplete. I dont think this is earth shattering, if the shot is there and he has time. He will take it. Btw i think Cam would have avoided the pressure and hit lofton. Obviously, we wont get the heroic plays, but ill take what Beck did on the two TD throws all day, everyday.

Yeah he had Bauman for a touchdown on the play he took the shot to Trader down the sideline. Touchdown to Toney on the next play so didn’t matter but the TE’s were schemed open for touchdowns twice.
