Any updates on serious candidates and timeline for hiring?? I think Pata was the guess on the TE spot last I read about it...

Word on the street is that the hiring of both the rb and te coaches is in the early stages, or potentially a little further than that, or maybe even toward the end of the process. The names being bandied about for the open rb coach position include, potentially, Javarris James and / or Eduardo Clements. If those two are not interested or if Miami looks into a different direction the board will potentially expand, unless of course, it doesn't. Names to watch for the TE position include Bubba Franks, Tommy Streeter, and Lendale White. If those fall through then other names may or may not come forward. Stay Tooned!

Someone jokingly mentioned Soldinger.. yeah he was 20 yrs younger, he’s 81. But, the list of running backs he coached here, most to greatness is ridiculous. And a few could be RB coaches. But, the list of guys lining up for this job is a mile long. And, I think we end up with a solid RB coach with a good resume, from a good program looking to improve his stock. Obviously the way it works at this level. Trust in Mario.

was looking for realistic updates instead of pages of CIS sarcastic coaching options or Mario timelines... or mostly if @DMoney was gonna drop something on this glorious Friday on this topic..

Do you think if someone was hired, it wouldn't have been posted somewhere on this or other UM forums?
You know the drill by now.

Don soldinger is the greatest position coach in the history of football with his resume. Really wish he got the recognition he so desperately deserves
