TAMU Ref Crew

He's the one that didn't call targeting on Texas in the Arizona State game last year

Overall I think he's solid. He did the USFL championship and he Umpires NFL games on Hochuli's crew on Sundays.

OSU fans also hate him because he was ref in one of the Michigan games. Don't remember if it was 2023 or 2024.

Heard he’s a Chicago Catholic

Already like him.

They will let the teams play…both ways… so I would expect to see our DL on the edge of holding most of the game and potentially getting a holding here or there. I don’t like that against a running QB, but Jakobe will be key in this game I think

Ahhhh, they're waiting on bringing Terry Porter out of retirement to see if we advance to play Taint.

I think the best crew for the Canes would be one that doesn't call flags that much, let's them play and don't inject themselves in the game.

I would much rather be ****ed because they didn't through a flag than one that throws flags on questionable stuff.

Looks like we have a B1G crew for this game. Larry Smith is the head zebra. Whats the info on this guy?
He has kinda a cool story, middle school principal, finally got the call to ref some NFL games. Worked his way through the system. Seems like he does like to let the guys play. On one hand I am cool with that, no need for a stupid 15 yard penalty because we talked **** (and considering we are one of the worst penalized teams).

Not calling holds has been an issue all year. I dont expect that to change. I do think with a running qb however it is easier to call a hold. The OL dont know where the QB is going and as the defense tries to disengage the OL has a tendency to not let go. Hopeful we get a few of those obvious ones.
