QB - Rosier: Thank you for your play this year, but Perry needs to take the job in 2018 to take this program to the next level. Malik is truly not a QB who should be starting on a top 15 team

RB - Losing Walton was a big hit. Homer & DJ filled in nicely, but thank god we have Lingard and Davis coming in. Need some game changing players at RB. Homer just isn't dynamic enough. Deejay was a big surprise, hope he sees more time next year (IMO 1. Lingard or Deejay 2. Homer)

WR - Hats off to Braxton Berrios. Great Cane who won the game against FSU. Again losing Richards was huge. Thomas is gunna be a stud if we can get a QB who can throw it to him. Cager stepped up in the Bowl, looking forward to seeing him in 2018. Pope/Harley should be impact speed players. But again, NEED a QB who can showcase these guys talents

TE - Wish Herndon best of luck in the NFL. Injury was huge and really hurt us in the blocking game, IMO. Can't wait to see Mallory and Jordan.

OL - KC Mcdermott played OK all year, but got beat or missed big blocks way too much. We NEED a true LT to develop. Donaldson struggled all year with quicker DL. Kid needs to lose weight. No way he's a Tackle unless he seriously improves quickness

DT - RJ was a ghost the last 3 games of the year. Got totally overpowered by Wisc and IMO hurt his draft stock tremendously. Would be a mistake if he left. Norton needs to come back as well. Looking forward to seeing Nesta, and how Ford and Bethel develop

DE - Played great all year (while getting HELD all year). Chad Thomas really played a great bowl game and improved his stock IMO. Joe Jack and Garvin will be scary off the edge. Looking forward to seeing DJ Johnson develop and replace Chad.

LB - Played OK. They still look a step slow and didn't make the game changing plays I thought they would this year. Mccloud needs to improve and be more consistent

CB - Exposed by mediocre QBs, WAY TOO MUCH. Delaney was average, Young got beat alot, and Mike Jack was pretty solid, but nothing special. Dean got beat whenever he was in as well. If Rumph can't land Campbell or Surtain, he needs to be on a serious hot seat next year. I understand that he doesn't have the depth or talent yet, but he also can't seem to land the top guys he wants either (Ivey and Blades were canes no matter what). Need the freshman to make an impact right away.

S - JJ played great. Really happy he decided to come back. Needs to put on a little more weight and take the next step in his game. IMO Frierson should take Redwine's spot. Redwine is way too small to be the physical safety we need back there. And he is not a ball hawk, always seems a step late. Carter and Smith impressed as true Fresman. Excited to see them develop

Special Teams - BAD BAD BAD. Not one long KR or PR all year. Poor punts by Feagles (although he did have a great bowl game performance). Badgely, get out of my face with your lax bro hair. I'd rather a fat Italian kicker that eats too much pasta and can actually hit clutch kicks.

OVERALL - Not gunna lie, 10-3 is about what i expected. I did not expect to be in the playoff conversation, but that was clearly premature, as we are not their yet. 3 game losing streak to end the season puts a very sour taste in my mouth, but this team/staff fought their *** off and is gave us some very exciting and memorable games (VT,FSU, ND, etc.)

Next Year - Expectation is 11 Wins, ACC Championship appearance, and playoff contention. No reason that shouldn't happen with the talent we have (Need a QB who can get us there)

nice write-up. I was thinking the finish would be pittisburgh and clemson, didn't expect us to lose to the badgers. Really disappointed in rosier. Really looking forward to the storm 18 players coming into the fold. They are putting us one step closer to the final four. most of those young men will play and they are bringing talent with them.
