-VT absolutely sucks and anyone that’s hired there has an uphill climb.

-Manny taking over as DC has exposed his incompetence more than anyone could’ve feasibly thought.

-We will need to hit the portal HARD for LB and DB depth.

-This offense isn’t the problem. They score, even though most of the guys on it have been playing CFB consistently for less than two months.

-When Mario comes, he should retain Lashlee at the least. Also wouldn’t mind Likens and Hickson staying around. It would be good for continuity on the offense, which doesn’t need a revamp.

-Get rid of everyone on the D except for T-Rob, who deserves a second look.

-Fire, then rehire, then fire Patke again. Guy wouldn’t be employed in the G5, and he’s a nepotism hire at this point.

-With Oregon laying an egg against Utah, the timeline could be more accelerated.

-For all those that haven’t realized yet, this is Mario’s job. If he wants it, that’s the ball game. There’s no Lane or anyone else unless Mario says **** no to Miami.

I agree its Mario's job if he wants it, but he better decide soon. Kiffin wants the job and I don't want to lose out on Kiffen waiting on Mario.

I think Mario is a vast improvement over Diaz, but his losses scare me and the fan base will turn on him one day when that happens. Could you imagine if it were Miami in the CFP top 4 at 9-1 and we get throttled by an inferior team to get knocked out of the top 4 with 1 game left before the conference championship game? That shiny new car smell would wear off quickly just like it did for Richt with the Pitt loss at 10-0.

Lashlee won't be here. The media around Dallas is already pointing to Lashlee to be the HC at SMU if Sonny Dykes gets the HC job at TCU. Lashlee probably gets a HC job somewhere when all the coaching carousels begin.

agree on the above, startling the amount of talent on offense, and lack of play makers on defense :

Lashlee ***** all over himself during crunch time. The worst run game play caller ive ever seen and did absolutely nothing to tailor his playbook to Kings strengths.

I don't understand CIS obsession with him. Some of his play calls on 3rd or 4th and short are legendary

Preach. Couldn't agree more.

Dude runs the offense like a video game and has zero patience for establishing a run.

You can get away with this when playing garbage ACC teams in a down year, but even a decent run game with Franklin back there—Florida State never gets the ball back and that game is in the books 28-23.

Godforbid any defense brings the heat at Van Dyke and the Canes are forced to run—Lashlee will keep pounding the undersized Knighton up the gut, while airing it out 100 times a game.

Dude is predictable—always going to Mallory on third-and-short—and lacking the patience to wear defenses down with a ground attack.

Excellent evaluation. He's so predictable and shows no patience in the run game.

What bothers me the most are that you have a lot of pieces to the game but choose to only use the same piece over, and over again. There will be a time a REAL DC will figure your lame BS out, and then what??

Again, just like Thad, I don't care if he was out of shape he knows how to get at least 1 yard, and he's over 200lbs! Then why recruit so many players if we are going to use the same ones.

This is NOT a video game!

The irony is that Lashlee will get hired at the G5 level to wet his whistle, even though he’s a competent, although frustrating at times, OC, while his boss is pretty incompetent at his job, yet is a P5 coach.

T rob has to be handcuffed by manny. Our corners look worse than they did under Rumph. Let that sink in.

Tecoury couch is approaching dj Ivey level of incompetence
