Just a heads up if you’re thinking of doing this, it’s probably going to be packed before noon and getting food or a table might be slim pickings, especially considering there is a slate of bowl games on all day with the Cotton bowl being the night cap

Would love to know as well. I think we’re going to uber from our hotel, but would love to tailgate and/or bar hop with fellow Canes fans. It looks like there’s quite a few bars and restaurants just east of the stadium

For the LSU game I did the same thing and regretted it lol, going to the game no issue like $20. Leaving the game was like $120, parking would have been way cheaper lol.
 
I got tickets to DJ Diesel's Cotton bowl party and NYE party at Texas live. Apparently there's 22 bars inside the place. Party starts at 11 am so I'll be walking over from the hotel pretty early to pregame. $60 for the ticket. Shaq is a trip so I'm looking to have a good time at a really easy location for me. I'm ******* stoked. The place is basically across the street from the stadium. texas-live.com
