Cedrick Wright was just invited to the Army All-American game today.

Sam Bruce, Tyler Byrd, and Cedrick Wright will be at the Army All-American game.

Zach McCloud was nominated to the Army game. I'm sure he will end up in the game when it comes.

Dionte Mullins and Jack Allison will be at the Under Armour All-American Game.

Still waiting for Shaq to get his invite....

I believe Richards and Joseph Jackson are deserving too.

Army all american picking up there game... Seemed like UA was always getting all the Florida esp Sofla guys. And appreciate the info Geo!

Yeah, Mullins tweeted that he's interested in switching to the Army game....

That would be a record # of UM commits at the game.

Addidas!

Allison was invited to both games, not sure if he committed to one specifically. I know he was invited to the UA game first

IMO, the UA game is much better. I think they also get better coaching.

If I was one of them the only reason I'd switch to the Army game is to be with a bunch of other Miami Commits. But ****, If I'm Mullins, I want to be at whichever game Allison is at. Or maybe at the game Sam Bruce is at so I could be in his ear all day making sure he doesn't flip to UF or wherever.

I'm staying to the Under Armour Game! Come on now you know that!!! Why not play in front of my mom? @_QueenLioness_

I think Deion Jackson and Amir Rasul could get in too.

We have a few legit targets we are after too that are in these games. Bethel, Upshur, Snelson. Fils-Aime and Pie I think could get invites as well.

Good chance this class could end up having the most All-Americans we have had in a single class. Impressive.

Don't forget the 2008 class:

Army All-American:
Marcus Forston
Marcus Robinson
Arthur Brown

UA Game:
Brandon Harris
Aldarius Johnson
Sean Spence
Ramon Buchanon
Brandon Washington
Kendal Thompkins
Taylor Cook (DNP)

There might be more but that all I can confirm off the top of my head...

The white guy throwing up the U is Blake Ayles. Transferred from USC to Miami but he had an injury riddled career and never suited up.

**** I didn't even remember that Thompkins and Cook we're selected for Under Armour.

I believe we had Ramon Buchanon at the Under Armour game too.

Hurts looking at that though.

Forston, Buchanon, Aldarius, Robinson and Brown never reached their ceiling/true ability here. Brown did at KSU though.

Harris, Spence and Washington reached it.

Thompkins one of the biggest disappointments as well. Greentree legend but he was MIA on game day.

My only fear of SWAG16, I don't want them to end up like the 08 class. Lot of talent that was wasted away by Shannon. I see much better player development from Golden compared to Shannon though. Despite the consensus thoughts on Golden.

Totally agree, I think our current staff will do a better job getting the kids ready physically. They emphasize a lot more on what the NFL combine looks at and seem to do a better job of keeping the kids accountable. The crazy thing about the 2008 class was that we also signed Streeter, Benjamin, DJ, Byrd, and Pimp at WR in addition to AJ and Thompkins... This class could rival the 08 class in terms of WRs, LBs and DBs.

At LB in 08 we had Brown, Buchannon, Robinson and Spence in the all star games but we also signed Futch, Harding, Harper, Marti, & Kane at the position. The sad part like you mentioned only Spence and Brown really lived up to their potential. Kane, Marti, and Harper never made on campus and Harding was injured before stepping on the field. Buchannon was always injured and Robinson got moved to DE.

We signed 8 LBs, 7 WRs, 4 Ss and 3 QBs in the same class. We signed 33 guys that year, had 10 EEs, 29 made it on campus in 08, 22 made it past 2 years. Only 4 were drafted, non in the first round. Spence and Benjamin are the only starters in the NFL.

The 2008 class broke a lot of hearts. That was supposed to be the one that not only brought the U back, but brought it back via South Florida ballers.

It was supposed to prove that what made us great once was still there for the taking and that we WOULD take it.

I do think we have a chance to beat the 2008 class in terms of All-Americans. We currently have 5 (Bruce, Mullins, Alison, Wright, Byrd). The other guys as you mentioned that should get an invites (Shaq, Zach, Richards, Jackson). I would add Rasul & Homer as potential invites if they have good senior years or if Travis blows up at the opening. We may also sign a couple other guys who are invited as well. Some of our guys will also get invited to the Semper Fidelis game as well which did not exist back in 2008. Now we just got to keep these guys committed.

Yeap, that class included 23 from FL although 11 came from 2 schools.
Florida: 23, California: 2, Tennessee: 2, Illinois: 1, Kansas: 1, Louisiana - 1, New Jersey: 1, Texas: 1, Virginia: 1.

The swag 16 class currently has 23 commits from FL and 1 from DC.
