One thing I am happy about is seeing Miami take steps to increase their support staff. We have seen Clemson ( up to 40! People in the recruiting department) and Bama have a bunch of support staff and analysts so I am compiling a list of our support/ analyst staff please add anyone I'm missing
-Matt Doherty- Director of Player Personnel
-DeMarcus Van Dyke- Quality Control- Cbs
-Dallas Crawford- defense (S ??)
-Todd Stroud- DL/ Strength/ recruiting
-Jorge Baez- Player Development/ Recruiting Operations
-David Cooney-Recruting/ Offensive Quality control (WRS)

Note:
Would love to add more coaches and guys like @Lance Roffers for analytics department and @Liberty City El and @gogeta4 for recruiting purposes.

Yeah,... Gonna be a shame to lose Roffers work on the boards!
Maybe he can still sneak us some write-ups, between duties on the Miami staff!

It would suck but I would rather him go to Miami and work full time/ get paid for his knowledge and analytics input over him just chilling here.

This is what I said yesterday.

What has impressed me as much as anything with this new energy around the program is that they are not only hiring support people but they are hiring QUALITY support people which I’m sure aren’t coming at minimum wage.

Not crazy about a couple of the hires and wasn’t crazy about the Manny hire but I’ve come over to the dark side now. I’m gonna trust that we are FINALLY going to put decent effort into actually “making the crib great again” and put our money where our mouth is ,so to speak, and do what’s necessary monetarily wise to get this done. Also Give Manny The means to do what he needs to put a quality product on the field plus hire competent people to coach up the kids he’s able to bring in.

Was beginning to think I’d never live to see us playing for the big trophy before the good Lord came calling but maybe, just maybe,I will.

Who is Joel Rodriguez and what does he do?

Joel is a UM football alum who has been handling a lot of the community outreach and those types of projects with the players. Im sure he does a lot more. Not 100% sure how has role will change with Diaz. He is also THE KEEPER OF THE CHAIN on gameday.
