When the Bulls missed a FG there were exactly 2:52 left in the game and they had 2 timeouts plus a 2 minute warning.
Sunbelt Billy has a strategy on how to lose this game and here it is....

First Sunbelt Billy decides to pass on first down because there's no point in trying to run out the clock WHEN YOU'RE ACTUALLY WINNING
Second down: we will run (which is what we should have done on first down) but for minimal gain
Third down: we only need 8 yards so why not throw a bomb on a go route and watch the ball land harmlessly on the ground

So with 2:39 the gators had to punt. Billy and the offense managed to bleed a whopping 13 seconds off the clock while only actually gaining 2 yards.
But hey the punt team actually worked and the Bulls were "pinned" to their 11 yard line and this is truly where Billy shined.

First they bail them out with a pass interference.
Then to make up for that PI we'll just spit in their face.
30 penalty yards later the entire defense suddenly forgets how to tackle.
and then despite only needing to hold them to potentially a long FG that they might actually miss (which they in previous drive) the Gators conveniently allow the Bulls to get real close to the endzone and make the equivalent of an extra point all while allowing the clock to bleed down to 3 seconds ensuring there is zero chance of a comeback.

Golesh himself could not have scripted a better outcome to this game in his wildest dreams.
Sunbelt Billy will never be elite especially playing in the SEC.
What i can't figure out is WTH does he tell players from florida to go their and play for him unless of course the player was a Gator diehard or legacy in which case they would probably commit to a corpse of a head coach....kind of like Billy!

You really have to believe that the Gators recruiting will suffer big time. He is inept - any player wanting to be developed shouldn’t even consider the Gators.

ummm...wait....

Billy has a killer instinct and just wasn't being conservative in his play calling.

Am I doing it right?

gators bye week is the week following us

it's likely that us beating them will be the final straw and I expect them to fire him the day after they come to hard rock

Funny how we forget our recent history
Cart before the horse is typical of Cane fans. It's either, we will never win again, or we will be the game that gets a coach fired.
How about we beat usf first.
Honestly, I cannot say lsu spanks uf. That's why the games are played.

The ending of the game reminded me of how the Cougars melted late against the Mud Dogs

Only recruiting attraction other than legacy has to be money.

When he passed on first down when they’d ran the ball well in the second half and USF had two timeouts left the writing was on the wall. He was in his own head and panicking

Honestly, when they got close to the goal line Billy should have let them score.

They might have had some time on offense for their own field goal attempt.

Worse than Mario's kneeling fiasco

Wasn’t Billy doing what so many were criticizing Mario for not doing in his last three drives on offense.
