Curious to see which stadium Canes fans think is better to have.

First you have Sun Life Stadium, 26 miles away from campus, an NFL stadium, and going through renovations that will make the stadium a better experience for the football fan starting in 2016.

Capacity: 65,000 (after renovations)
Renovations Include:
a new canopy over the seating areas
3,600 seats closer to the field
high definition lighting
new scoreboards in each corner of the stadium
upgraded seats
improved amenities and food services.

Then you have FAU Stadium.

Built in 2011
Capacity: 29,000
On campus
Host of Boca Raton Bowl

That's a tough one. I voted SLS even though I think its will still be too big. With all the new improvements we have to wait and see for sure. The canopy especially, might work wonders for noon game attendance. Fau stadium is just too small and cheap looking. Ideally a UM stadium should be 45k-50k with "new SLS" infrastructure.

SLS by far after renovations. 65K is too big . They should tarp 15,000 seats upper seats, period

Wow...the vote is actually pretty close. A shake and bake stadium on campus would be better than anything as ill-fitting as SLS I guess.

To most people driving 400 miles to see anything is not even a blip... I, on the other hand, hate that ****. I'll take an inflatable stadium on campus over a canopy of gold over at **** Lyfe.

I voted for FAU under the assumption we are talking on campus or near campus in CG. Our own stadium is better regardless of what it is. It can always be improved.

I'd rather drive to FAU. It's another 30 minutes from the gables. SLS is the worst venue out of any power 5 conference school. At least FAU gives a real game day feel

we had "real game day feel" against GT and Okla in 09, FSU in 12, 14, against UF in 13, and against taint in 11.

Didn't think it would be this close. It would be fantastic to have a football stadium on campus but FAU Stadium is like the bare minimum of stadiums. Sun Life's renovations look like they will improve a lot of the problems, but it still wouldn't beat a stadium on or next to the campus, evne if it was something like FAU. And after all, FAU Stadium is The House that Howard Built.

Do you remember the Orange bowl?

Joe Robbie has no identity or personality. Mine as we'll play on greentree.

I was warned by JRS staff for cheering too loud bc an OSU fan complained. My entire section was told to settle down, we were being too loud for Ohio St's offense.

My sister was kicked out for standing during big plays.

JRS/SLS is like the anti-west end zone.

This. It's pretty bad for canes games, but the Dolphins fan make it impossible to enjoy. Half of century village is there ready to wave their walkers at you for standing for anything after the star bangled banner.

SLS is awesome. Stadiums don't win games. SLS is great for tailgating.

No one would mention "Stadium" if were winning.

Bring back Butch and the Stadium talk ceases..........................
