Right this stuff is so easy to see. You’d have to change reality and be biased to say the things they are saying.

Same dudes who hated Lashlee.

In an offense where everything is bunch formation and slow developing. You have to sit back and make multiple reads in a defense that is not spread out so its hard to read. So even when TVD was deciding to throw, it wasn't accurate. He wasnt sure of the tight windows and this throwing with no confidence. The guy could barely throw a spiral.

He didn't play good, but man Gattis didn't help him at all.

If we don’t have a QB that can go through reads, maybe we should make a change.

Yes, but you can't play scared and I don’t know why any coach doesn't put in his tallest WRs in at least at the 10. Put in Skinner, Young, and Ladson to get 50/50 balls in the endzone. Gattis needs to take advantage of physical mismatches. We don't have any speed mismatches at WR.
 
We pitched the ball several times to the short side of the field. So stupid.
We also had designed QB keepers for TVD that’s ridiculous.

Book is out on TVD, he don’t go through reads sometimes because even last year when guys were wide open, he would throw it to a guy who was covered. It’s just even worse this year

I remember when some of you were calling for Lashlee’s head when he was here, but he is god now that he is out. I also remember that we had a lot of red zone problems with Lashlee and a terrible run game. We will be fine guys. Chill.

Amen to that. I couldn’t agree more with your sensible post. Coaching kept us in the game. The execution was poor. Tough place to go on the road. A&M was clearly looking ahead to this game and App St caught them. The team never quit. Gattis opened the playbook like so many here were calling for. Maybe now they know why. We are just not that talented yet but I trust Mario to get us there. We have a dream staff.
 
Gattis calling not 1 but 2 ***ing QB sweeps. Did he think King was still QB here? Players didnt execute but neither did Gattis. He made numerous dumb play calls

Good post. I was thinking the same thing. It’s still the same roster as last year…

It takes time. Give this staff 2 more recruiting classes and we’re back in national Top5 every year IMO. Gattis is a good coach and people need to grow up and relax.

I predict we go 9-3 maybe 10-2 this season, outside Clemson we won’t play anyone nearly as talented as A&M all year. We had our chances to win just didn’t execute. People relax and trust the process.
