That is the furthest thing from the truth. RS did not inherit a loaded program either. That 2008 team was loaded with True Freshman....many started like Fortson, Robinson, Spence, Regis, Harris, etc.

Folden came in making excuses and some of you Phucks bought into that crap...many of you still do.

I am not saying the program was loaded, but it was better than what FOLDEN had ever had. ****, he is making same excuses 4 years later.....RS didn't recruit these players, Folden did. Yet, it is funny that 3 of the best players on the team are RS's recruits McDermott, Feliciano and Walford).

There was more than enough talent to win 10 games in 2011 IF HE COULD COACH. We see how that went? Lost to a 2-10 Maryland team and 4-8 Boston College team.

Also, under RS the defense never performed like the "Sh*t Sammage Defense" Folden puts on the field. I personally wanted RS to serve as his own DC.

If Miami hired a New HC, he would say: The DTs sucks, S has no depth, TE has no depth, QB has no depth, DB has no depth and on and on...........

We are starting a True Freshman QB BECAUSE FOLDEN RECRUITED THE POSITION LIKE SH*T.....Preston Dewey, Gray Drow LMAO

It's not the players it's Folden. One player was arrested (really a notice to appear) during RS's tenure. Folden's numbers are embarrassing.

There is no need to mention RS at this point. No one mentioned Larry Coker when RS was not getting it done.

Why mention RS? Maybe it is race.

Randy had some good top end talent but literally zero ******* depth because he tanked his last 2 recruiting classes hard. Cut the revisionist history ****.

What did you expect? Shannon to leave this clown a national championship team? Shannon left plenty of talent for this guy to build off of and add to and if he were any good those talented juniors that left would have stuck around. Now you see why they left.

Shannon left Golden the most talented and experinced team in the coastal ( and one of the top 3 in acc) and he proceeded to go 5-6 vs div 1 teams. Golden is a joke and that Shannon excuse is just for people with zero football acumen.

2009: Olivier Vernon, Lamar Miller, Luther Robinson, Shayon Green(say what you want..Folden loved him), Brandon Washiongton, Jared Wheeler, Ray Ray, Malcom Bunche (say what you want..UCLA loves him), Brandon McGee and Mike James......yeah they all suck.

2010: Shane McDermott, Stephen Morris (say what you want..Folden loved him), Brandon Linder, Storm Johnson, Allen Hurns, Maurice Hagens, Chase Ford, Johnathan Feliciano, Eduardo Clements......yeah they all suck.

Jacory looked a lot better under Fisch, and Morris was a lot better under him too.

I don't think Streeter even saw the field until Golden took over. Travis Benjamin was also here for the first year.

As some said, depth was the issue, but not without some solid players.

I'd like to meet the coach that inherits a monster roster and a program running on cruise control when he replaces a fired coach.

What program is firing a coach that has things in order? Every new coach replacing a fired one is walking into a **** show; the previous guy was fired for a reason.
 
Yeah, they keep blaming Randy but Randy first year we have a punter playing WR and Kirby Freeman as QB.....and they beat FSU!

Nonsense, the program was close to being bare if we didn't terminate Randy. Give Al credit for the things he did do well - Restocking the talent is one of those things.

That's bs. You have no idea who and what players would have brought in his last class. Safe to say they would have been better than anything golden brought in that year.

Miami had some talented juniors leave cause they saw Golden was a joke. if those guys stayed it would be up to Golden to add to the talent already on hand like any other fired coach has had to do.

Why are we still talking about Randy?

Randy is one of the worst D1 power conference HCs of all time. The best he can do now is a position coach.
Golden is equally as terrible but they do it in different ways.

Neither guy should get an ounce of praise from our fans.

Got it all wrong my brethren, I want Golden's *** gone too.

But we did this when it was time for Randy to go...we talked about "well actually Coker wasn't that bad".

Coker sucked. Shannon sucked. And now Golden sucks. Full stop.

Golden sucking doesn't mean Randy did any better. Golden inherited good top end talent, which you named here, and not a lot of depth. Them's the breaks. He did a ****** job of building depth, as we have all talked about.

And by the way, look back at Shannon's last 2 classes IN TOTAL. There were a handful of nice players and the rest was complete crap.

You're making a straw man argument, some would say.
