Stewart Reese 2016 OT/OG from FT Pierce HS needs to be a priority for Miami to add him to the 2016 class. The young man is a beast that has the rare foot work to be able to play Guard and Right Tackle at a very high level. The state of Florida produces few quality Olinemen, so when one does pop up the instate schools need to keep them home.

HE said he will not take any official visits until January which will play right into Miami's hands, because the full staff should be in place by the first week of January.

Paranos love your due dilligence but have we ever signed any of the big guys you talk about? It seems we never get them:confusion:

I remember him being money on Courtrel Jenkins. I don't think that dude gets enough credit, he's really good. It's amazing that we've sucked so much, I really think we've had talent everywhere.

Things are about to get real interesting for Stewart Reese's recruiting. On Dec 14th he released a Top 5 of Florida State, Louisiana State, Nebraska, Ole Miss and South Carolina (listed in alphabetical order). HE comes from the same school as Giorgio Newberry, now a senior defensive end at Florida State, so there is a tie there and could also be why Reese has long been thought to be a FSU lean.

The latest news coming out of the UA practices in Orlando, FL 6'7" 310LBS 2016 OT Jauan Williams has named FSU his leader.

Also OL coach Rick Trickett has FSU in position to land 2016 OT Landon ****erson

And with FSU's current 2016 Oline commits that means Reese's FSU ship has sailed because they are full at Oline with six 4* Oline commits or soon to commit.

=====================================

LSU is just listed as window dressing they are going in different direction

===================================

USCe is not place linemen go to get developed currently they have 4 Oline commits for 2016 two 3* and two 2* players so adding Reese would be headliner of Muschamps Oline class. An there is always a little knudge from the $EC bagman to smooth things along, but I don't think that would be enough to sway Reese to USCe.

======================================

Ole Miss is an interesting situation because they just landed a 5* OT in addition to having 4 other Olinemen committed for 2016 so they are full.

=====================================

That leaves Nebraska which is a player because of his teammate (& former UM Commit) 2016 LB Greg Simmons and has room in their 2016 class for Reese. so it looks like ultimately it could come down to a Nebraska vs a hopefully late push from Miami (an whomever Mark Richt hires as his Oline coach).

UM needs a few good Tackles in the 2016 class so adding Stewart Reese, Marcus Tatum, Brandon Walton (developmental long term upside), and Solomon Kindley (another developmental long term upside). Would be a solid haul of Olinemen for the 2016 class.

Go Canes

appreciate the article and nice work but how is this interesting to any canes fan if the kid isn't considering us at all?

407cane Stewart Reese has taken a few extended unofficial visits to Miami over the last year, but something didn't click with him and UM yet he still kept coming back so you know he likes Miami (I think it was the conflict with his love for FSU). So with a new staff in place and his dwindling options Reese could fall to Miami by default, which I am fine with given UM's need at oline.

The only thing that's working our way for the longest for him is our Medical Program. That is the field Reese is looking to study. He really wants to go to FSU but let's see how everything plays out.

Reese projects more of a guard then a tackle. He looks like he'll be a mauler in the run game. Unfortunately we have a lot of guards on our team and not many tackles. We're heading into January and we're not even in his top 5. This late in the game, it's better to move on.

GTFOOH with that crap. Pure, unadultered BS. Just because sheeple spew that line all the time doesn´t make it true and I would expect someone who seems to spend 24/7 researching football related crap on the internet to know better.

Only Cali (47) and Texas (34) have more OLs in the NFL than Florida (24).

If you think hes going to FSU he'll probably wind up here. Honestly, have you been right about anything?
