Kim didnt even have Toney on his Mt Rushmore of Canes WRs two months ago
I was young, but I do remember Blake Ezor! A snowball fight sounds great. Backyard football in the snow was always a hit growing up in Michigan.

wore #26 IIRC

Do you remember a RB at MSU named Blake Ezor? Played in the late 80's. I saw an MSU game vs Northwestern back then and it snowed the enire night before and stopped minutes before kickoff. There had to be 10+ inches of snow on the ground and everywhere inside the stadium. It was a 3 hour snowball fight and was one of the most fun games I ever went to. I think MSU won 76-0? I even hit Sparty in the side of the head with a snowball. Good times.

PS. I'm a dork, but that story is true.
Fun story from a great poster!

Great list at @k9cane drop Damon and add Fletcher on leadership and attitude alone at #10. The way he pumps up the rest of the team let alone his other RBs when he’s been banged up is infectious! He shows so much love to Mallory. His play when healthy and pass pro make him indispensable. Samsun is too high at #4. Slide up the list and move him back to #9. Then your list is spot on.

Respect for putting bryce top3. Everyone doesn’t realize how valuable he is, has any cane db ever been this versatile? Able to shift from being our best safety, being maybe our best nickel too specifically vs the pass, and playing corner at a high level all in the same season? He may end up being the best db we have had since the glory days

My top 10 in tiers:

1.Toney
2.Mensah
3.Bryce

4.Lightfoot
5.Ryan
6.EOC

7.Wilson
8.Mallory
9.Moten
10.Fletch

Not a bad list. Placing any lineman in the top ten hurts a little but you think Ryan over Psncske? It definitely was that way last game but Ryan’s performance in the first 3 left a lot to be desired.

If EOC can hold the fort down until OJ gets back for the CFP..he should be #3 on that list by early December.

yeah, that pained me to leave them off -- but keep in mind, this was about half-season production and value. If this was just an overall list going into the playoff and they are both healthy and functioning, both Fletcher and Moten are in my top five without a doubt.

I’ve been a little disappointed with Motens play but has he been banged up? I haven’t studied the DLine in depth like I have other positions.

Butch Davis said years ago he believed all four defensive backs had to have cover ability. He didn't believe in guys just being box-defenders who could tacke.

I’ve said all year Bryce is our most dynamic player on D. Being able to move him back to S and getting at least competent coverage from Xavier changes this D.

K9 is spot on the anti tad foote….foote sucked
