Stats to overcome from 2015

The people that hired him are the ones that make me angry. He didn't TRY to stink, he just did. We get what we pay for, and we paid for pure crap the last three hires.
I'm trying to ignore that fact that al golden is a person and that he ever had anything to do with my football team, but ****. It still makes me furious that we sucked so badly in so many ways and that fat ****er pretends like it wasn't his fault. Like the cloud made us hold and jump off sides. The ****ing cloud made us run a scheme that involved watching a RB run past then following him to the end zone. Imma punch that fat ****er right in his fat mother ****ing face.

I find it hard to believe it's possible to suck that much by accident.

Turnover margin and penalties are the big ones. I think with better coaching and more talent most of the other areas will improve. Need to cut down on the penalties and improve in turnover margin. I believe with a more disciplined team (they respect the coach now) all areas will improve. I also believe, since we have better coaching, we will be in better down and distance situations which will by itself make most of our areas improve. No more shotgun on goal line and short yardage situations. No more play action when it's 3rd and 20. No more 3 down linemen on defense when they are on the goal line and our LBs are 5 yards deep.

***I think we will drastically improve in every category you mentioned above***

Miami was +11 in turnover margin last year. One of the best teams in the nation in that category.

Anyone look at how many TD's were taken away from penalties?
How many drives were killed by penalties?
Dead last in penalties, so for once, they really only can get better.

I see one game where you could say penalties could be blamed for the loss--the bowl game vs Wash St where we had 9/94 and WSU only had 5/37.

Cinn had one more penalty than us .

FSU game was about even in penalties.

UNC ,we had 12/103 vs 5/56 so perhaps you have an argument there but not a strong one as we were blown out.

Ironically, we won the 2 games where we had the most penalties Neb (13) and Dook (23).

So,yes, we need to improve here, but that wont solve all of our problems.

Never would have guessed that.
