the UM defense gives up an average of 19.5 plays a game of 10+ yards. shout out to roman marciante for noting that statistic.



that makes us DEAD LAST in the NCAA in allowing chunk plays, (defined as over 10 yards, as it equates to a first down on a single play).

distinguished from "explosive plays" which are generally defined as 25+ yards (1/4 of of the field in a single play)

i'm on pretty safe ground saying, as it relates to that statistic, "that ain't great."
