With the surface seeming to get worse as the night wore on, players from both teams had a hard time keeping their footing on Sunday, leading several to change their cleats during a game that ended with the Kansas City Chiefs’ dramatic 38-35 comeback win over the Philadelphia Eagles.

David Hale of ESPN said today that Mario got the team out there an extra day to get acclimated to the conditions, especially the turf. They practiced at a field near the stadium with the same surface. Wanted the guys go get their cleats "in the turf".

Beck mentioned going to the stadium and looking around.

Don’t remind me. The grounds keeper for that game came from the Chiefs.

We got our revenge on them ****ers last year and we will get our revenge on the Fiesta Bowl on Thursday.
