All I'll say is you got to have a running threat at QB

An elite pocket guy is fine but the bar is very high for him to be elite enough to be better than the free scramble first downs and extra run game numbers you get from a dual threat.

If we are doing timing stuff and precision intermediate passing then that works but if our QB is gonna just throw to the sidelines and chuck deep shots and process poorly then LaNorris Sellers can do that we don’t need a statue for that.

And how much of that last yardage you quoted is Oline pushing guys down the field for 3-4-5 more yds…

I dunno and don't care. It's running the football, not portrait painting. It doesn't have to look aesthetically pleasing. You average ~5.5 yards per carry against power conference teams over 2 years and you're doing something right. I don't get why some of you are hung up on believing their run scheme is always bad, when it clearly isn't.

It's bad this year. I don't understand why they thought we'd be as effective running it this year as we were last year when you take the teams' personnel differences into account. I'm perplexed and mad that after 5 games and 2 bye weeks they still thought if they just blocked better it would work better.

Still a lot of the season left. If the "solution" continues to be "just try to block it better," please send me a pitchfork in the mail.

Beck? It’s “OMG, y?” His body language just sucks & it’s the defense coming to him, like Toure, telling him “don’t worry, ‘we’ got u.” I don’t like my QB1 aloof & having poor body language when things aren’t perfect. We’ve had that type of leadership before, & it didn’t pan out well.

That scene with Toure stood out to me live and after the game also. Same thing I've been saying about dj lagway every time he sulks and pout while sitting on the bench after a mistake or bad drive. At this level and beyond, heck, even HS, if the team has to rally the qb, instead of the qb rallying the team and showing them you can still lead them to victory, that team wont go far.
