Didn't Diaz say the entire offensive staff would be in place by January 10th so we can hit recruiting when dead period ends January 11th? Guess will see what tomorrow holds

I’m on the Clemson guys bandwagon but the three offensive guys they have in Elliot Streeter Scott are all alumni and are paid well. It will be a hard pull for any program

He needed to wait until Alabama's season was over so Applewhite could reach out to Jalen Hurts.

Death valley is like Mayberry compared to miami.those people in sc are very loyal.I lived there for ten yrs in Lexington.fans are seriously insane there.a father there killed his son over a sc-Clemson game .

Maybe Jalen Hurts reached out to Applewhite while he was still at University of Houston, then Applewhite brought up the UM offer and Manny had to clear some NCAA hurdles before having Applewhite sign his contract. Maybe this is all bull**** and Manny is going to hire Mark Richt to call plays. I have no idea.

In the article that came out last week he said he hopes to have the offensive staff in place by today. He also hinted a couple of days ago it may be a few days later. Whenever it comes out I think he is well aware the offensive staff he hires will be a very large factor in his own success as a head coach.

Manny hoped/expected the offensive staff to be in place by the 10th. But, the reality is a lot less clear. Manny's timeline doesn't necessarily conform to candidate's timelines. The coaching candidates have their own concerns.

Sooner would be better for us, but it'll happen when it happens.

cRaZy important hire for Manny obviously. Getting it right trumps getting it fast. That being said, the remaining croots/transfers need to know sooner than later.

You mean Jon, right?

This class got flushed down the toilet long time ago so getting it right is all that matters. I’m not a Manny guy but this year’s recruiting results are not his fault. He needs to get serious results on the field. Without bags, we need development and wins, wins, wins and then a big wins over superior opponent. Butch was our only no bag hope for recruiting. Manny needs not lose games.
