...do any of the linemen like him or buy his bullshyte? Could that also be something we didn't consider? On paper, his resume looks impressive but it was what he said (he probably didn't know there was a hot mic) during paradise camp that got me thinking "I don't know if I want to play for him or kick his ***"....

Remember that Oline recruit from Missouri that almost went kimbo slice on another D-end camper and they broke it up?...the Missouri kid walked away from the drill to cool off I suppose and Searels tells him to "get your big asssss back over here..."...wtf. And I believe he came down with his father.

I'm all for coaches that drop the f-bomb and get in players face when they fuucc up but for that kid (Hayes?), 18, black, from a state that has had some serious black lives matter issues; having this white cowboy twang talking moonshine appst ex coach call me a big assss and we just met? Wtf. Needless to say, kid committed elsewhere a short time later. He looked like a hog and a good one too.

Something to consider with all the bad Oline play and poor recruiting for this position group...

So far he has been a disappointment.
Just from experience alone they should be better than last year.
They are not and they are in better shape.

Who would have thought in the Figueroa Pipho days we'd be wishing for Stoutland back one day.

I just don't get why we run the same pass protections over and over that clearly aren't working. Guys look confused on some plays about their assignments. Then when they're not confused they are getting beaten. Lots of teams with low quality lineman play find ways to run plays that take the pressure off oline. Our coaches need to break down the right film. It's all in the tape.
