SIAP Spurrier stated the reason he stayed on this year was beating Miami in a bowl game. Obviously he realized during a moment of clarity that he was either going senile or insane. Just another Golden accomplishment I guess.

Spurrier stepping down from Carolina does not mean he's out of coaching....Stated in Tuesday's interview he would like to go to a college who needs help, and act in a consultant capacity..Well that helps Coley-now we need another one to step down for the defense..
