New staff is toughening these guys up. Which is sorely needed.Tackling with no pads on, just hope nobody gets hurt. Hopefully this will lead to guys staying on the field instead of coming out for every little thing. No more babying these guys.

Haven't felt like this in a decade...I wanna enjoy summer and my Mets, but **** cannot wait for September.

there is a method to the madness. Rugby players tackle without pads. Those guys probably have the best tackling technique. Tackling without pads forces you to make tackles with good form, instead of being reckless. That, in of itself, should help reduce injuries.
