First punt of the game and we let an LSU guy come right up the middle. This was not some well devised play by LSU. The player simply was not blocked and runs right up the middle and should have blocked the punt.

Feagles continues to semi-shank at least 2 punts a game.

Rousseau tries to jump the pile and gets a personal foul.

Everything above points to poor coaching. Simple blocking schemes are blown. The punter should have been replaced after the first shank. A freshman is not taught that he cannot try to jump the pile. All of this is basic coaching and we lack it on ST. Time for a change. Hartley is simple in over his head at this position and it is glaring. This nonsense will cost us at least one more game this year.

Comical ST play. How hard is it? I feel like it is a disaster waiting to happen every time we line up for a punt or FG. There should not have been any flags for the running into the kicker or jumping the pile IMO.

Challenge with CMR being the QB coach and OC (he is regardless of Brown and CMR jr.) he cannot spend time helping, providing assistance one on one coaching to someone like Hartley. When the head coach takes on two critical responsibilities such as QB coach and OC that implies that every single other coach better be humming perfectly and on their own most of the time. I don't know anything about coaching ST which makes me about the same as Hartley, but I did stay at a Holiday Inn Express last night.
