Diaz needs to make another hire in the off-season to coach the return teams. Our punt return teams have been consistently the worst unit all year. No one has field awareness, no communication, guys run out of control for 10-15 yards just to fair catch it in traffic, and guys never get under it cleanly always catching balls off their hips and hands etc.

If its Patke still doing double duty coaching these guys, he's done a horrible job there. Atrocious unit. Absolutely awful.

People seem to think our ST is "good" because we have a kicker and a punter.

Return games (on both ends) are atrocious.

Idk what the **** happened on that return. Burns ran right by the guy and I think Harrell got held. The punt return game is disgusting and every kick we run out is an automatic flag. Some good returns tho by Rooster but brought back because of the flag. Patke needs to go. He’s a brutal recruiter too.

this isn't a defense of patke bcuz it was manny's recruiting but we have the no 2 special teams in the country per SP+ precisely bcuz we have a great kicker and punter

Someone (maybe Ragone) had a kill shot tackle lined up and bounced off the returner who was obviously their RB .... same guy that Andre Ware was slobbering all over his nuts that had a whopping 13 carries for 45 yards against our *** defense.

i have no idea what gurvan hall was thinking on that last punt return. He literally made every fundamental mistake you could on a punt return. For sure thought that iced the game against us
