Hurricanes long snapper Clay James has been a force in the South Florida community, volunteering with food banks, schools, after-care programs and more during his time at Miami. For him, giving back is a way of life.

I'm always very proud and humbled when I hear about our players participating in community service projects. There needs to be more stories such as these.

I honestly believe it happens more often than we hear about. These types of young men and women don’t do these things for attention so their good deeds mostly go unnoticed.
