Haha man my next Rose Bowl tickets are for an Olympic event in 2028 and even that’s too soon.

We’ll probably stay the night in Pasadena because I vowed to never do that drive/park again. Had a 40 minute drive turn into 3+ hours with parking

**** yeah, might as well post up and grab a martini or two at the Langham or something and make it a little staycation.

Also for the thread derailment people, I’ll add in something football related…my hot take is SC shows enough signs of life to get Riley off the hot seat…but he goes to Texas Tech anyway.
 
Good stuff. I agree with the USC comments as well, I know a ton of people that live in LA and NONE of them are from there hence non-USC fans.
People acting like it's some catastrophe live in small college towns and their world revolves around the local college and team.
As many of you know my daughter goes to an SEC school and they suck, but you would never know it. Virtually everyone there lives and breaths for the team.

when USC is elite, the Trojans are absolutely a big attraction (think the Pete Carroll years) But when they struggle or want a coach out they basically stop showing up. Unlike most other blue blood programs they don't have a fan-base that gives them unconditional support
