This program has more problems than just COACHING! The whole program needs to be torn down and rebuilt. This means the number is not 4 million, It needs to be 10 million. Everybody keeps saying "fertile recruiting grounds" "build the fence back" blah blah blah. It starts with paying not only the head coach but all 8 coaches. the OC and DC should be in the 750K or more range. We also need to totally redo the S&C Program. There needs to be 5-6 coaches in this program. Look at all the rest of the upper programs and you will see where we are severely lacking. This means Swasey is gone. Another big thing we don't have is the so called "Consultant or Director of linebacker coordinator etc. Alabama, I believe has 28 of these type people. While they are not classified as "Coaches" the usually have NFL experience and really all they do is break down film and get the players prepared for game plans. I'm just afraid we will go cheap again and in this day and age you just can't and be successful.
Something else to consider on hiring a coach. If we paid "The Fraud" to leave for 7 Million will we be able to pay a buyout for a current college head coach?
