Such has always been the case and always will be—here and literally every other university—and it will never change. Fans are gonna run their mouths and players / players' families are going to see it.
Go read an Alabama message board after they lost to LSU. Many wanted Saban fired and were trashing other players in the loss—mostly the defense, that gave up a boatload of points and yards.
If kids don't want to come to Miami because of social media or message board rants—they're going to (1) deal with it wherever else they go and (2) are going to have a hard time cutting it in life; especially if their parents feed into the "don't trash my baby" or "everybody's wrong and you are right, my child" bullsh1t.
It's 2019. This is simply a part of the sport these days—and if anything, it gives kids nothing more than an excuse when they want to break a commitment.
