(Excluding plays that were blown up entirely too fast. Here are some things we still could have done)

Q2 12:43
The dropped Mallory Pass near INT. Watching this over again once Jarren escaped the pressure and saw no one open I think this is great place to tuck the ball and run. Even if Mallory catches it he gets stoped immediately it was 2nd and 13. I think Jarren gets at least 10 yards on the run if not the first if he is shifty enough for the defender standing 10 yards away. Sets him up for 3rd and manageable.

When JT4 comes in motion across the field and you see Campbell get beat from the jump. Throw the quick pass to JT4 he will either make #30 miss and get some decent yardage or he picks up 2-3 yards here.

Also could have simply stepped up into the pocket which may have bought the extra time for KJ or Harley to get open on that side. But after facing heavy pressure already I understand feeling the need to tuck and run.

Im not completely mad at dumping the ball to Cam Davis here when you saw pressure as the safe option. I believe you have the touch to throw that ball to Mallory over the linebacker and between the safety by the 19 yard line to give him a bit a room to run.

Q2: 8:35
They showed blitz with Shawn Davis pre snap. Jarren knew were he wanted to go before the ball was snapped on this incompletion. I’d like to see him recognize the blitz and the numbers mismatch where JT4 ran to fill the blitzing Shawn Davis hole. You hit 4 here and it’s a first down.

This is minor. Some guys have elite vision some don’t it’s what separates your good from great type of guys. Deejay picks up a 4 yard gain here running towards the trouble. If he runs between Hightower’s Block and Brevins block he only needs to beat Quincy Wilson. If he doesn’t beat him it’s a 6-7 yard first down run. If he does automatic first down and probably going at least 20 yards.

1st and 10 Vision Again. This RB vision Separates the good backs from the great backs. If the hole the play was designed for is closed find the next hole. Cam you see that your running lanes is blocked immediately. However if you follow the left of Zions *** where Mark Pope just motioned over from you have numbers on that side. Bare minimum 10 yard run. If not a house call for 70 yards.

Q3 5:54
There again is a hole a Mack truck could go through on the left the very next play. Follow Donald’s *** for the first down. You may get lucky if your receiver downblocks and springs you for a bigger gain.

Back to back plays I’d like to see Jarren simply throw the ball away instead of the 1 yard sack ordeal. One of them winded up being a late hit though.

Q3 4:15
This one isn’t bad this is actually a highlight on Cams long run that called back. Dammit mane! You would have two big *** runs like that in the above time stamps when you trust your eyes and have vision! Literally that’s the type of runs we missed in the above two mistakes listed.

Q4: 10:00 Obviously Jeff dropping the pass hurts but yes it’s been stated a lot but man Martell is walking straight in here.

I didn’t have much else outside of the OL issues.

Just wanted to note some specific plays on offense. Little things that we don’t always pick up on.
