So called pundits

A lot of it is historical data. I don’t blame them. Tell me the last time we won a big time game on the road? FSU in 2017? The Rosier to Langham game…**** when’s the last time we won an in state rivalry game? They know we have way more talent but it’s the X factor stuff that comes into play that we as fans want to ignore but the media doesn’t. We want respect? Let’s go get it in 72hrs.

It’s more to do with historical home underdogs. If this game was in Miami or literally anywhere else it would be a double digit spread and 90% of the picks would be for Miami. It’s just that road favorites, especially this early in the season aren’t statistically a great pick.

We always enjoyed in the days of RINGS being underdogs.
I was something we embraced it was our FOOD we enjoyed very much in looking forward to a good meal.

We are a stacked deep team and what I always loved in the days of rings , WE KNEW IT .
After this win just walk off the field as it was nothing when were interviewed be just straight face no emotions at ALL

“ we executed our game plan but left 2-3 more TD on the field, we’ll work on that and we’re looking forward to our next game “

Never mentioned your FOOD give no respect to your food you’ve eaten not even mentioning there name, just digest them for a good STOOL.

NO REMORES TILL YOU GET YOUR RING

OH , when the media is against U your on the right path.

Fsu in 2017 was a big one for our standards but stadium was 3/4 full cause fsu started to slip for the first time in years and miami had probably 10-15k fans there.

Miami hasn’t won a statement road game since vtech in 05…. 20 years.

I had a small heart attack this AM after watching that clip. I was caught off guard and blown away that **** “cry harder *****” newheisel picked Florida.

Imagine being that butthurt over 20 years later. The boys went in deep on UW that day.

Sunday, Josh Pate addressed the fact that all the experts had FSU wrong. He said media peoples’opinions are formed largely by talking to people inside the program.

Usually, if you hear that a team is deficient in some area, it because the staff has told reporters about the weakness in order to temper fan expectations.

20 minutes later, he said Miami’s O will be elite, but likely not immediately… some time would be needed for the unit to gel. The same thing was said by other national guys like Pickell etc. It seems fair to assume that this is what they’re hearing from our staff, and so they’re picking UF.

My theory: Mario is fully expecting the O to be clicking on Saturday, and he’s using the media to make UF believe they’ll be facing a team not quite ready for prime time. To me, this is exactly the kind of disinformation campaign Mario would employ…..

I hope

A lot of the pundits think Cam Ward will be rattled by the environment at the swamp. I don’t ever remember hearing so much about a stadium before a game.
This "Swamp" talk is getting annoying. Our players will not be intimidated by their stadium. Likewise, none of our opponents will be intimidated by Hard Rock. All these players at FBS level have played in big stadiums and big games all their college careers. I mean, maybe it's possible a smaller FCS school playing a big time P5 school might be intimidated by an actual size of a stadium or size of the crowd.

Now, could UF's crowd and noise make things more difficult for us? Sure, but I don't think it has much of an impact. We certainly won't be intimidated. The concerns I have are mistakes and poor execution due to first game jitters. Players and coaches trying to hard or overthinking things.

FSU was undefeated and we took a TF into Doark and did fine. Been ****tin Stadium isn't going to be anymore hostile than that game was last season. Our team is built to neutralize this advantage. Nothing shuts the crowd up faster than watching the home team get mowed over in the trenches.

I have been to a couple of games there under Napier. It will start out loud but the first sign of it going bad, they will shut up quickly and will only be thinking about singing Tom Petty.
