The Similar Threads feature just makes it more difficult to get to the bottom click the link to the forum. Also, when there are a lot of results, you can end up scrolling through those instead of the page you're on.

I don't think a lot of people are on here researching particular subjects.

If you were a big fan of months old resurrected threads so people can add ""I told you so" posts, you'll love the new feature.

Yes, and they're usually old stuff. One of the car forums I'm on does that and I understand it because people use it for research, but that's not the case here.

The issue is worse when the list is long and you're scrolling down. I don't think it really adds value here.

It wouldn't happen as much if the threads weren't right there tempting them.
