Silver Lining - Rush Defense

Lost in the defense performance rhetoric is the 3.0 average per rush given up by the defense.
Relative to other aspects of the game, that's pretty good.
Also bodes well for up coming games vs predominantly rush oriented offenses in KSU and GT.
If we can get other aspects of our defense improved like pass defense and pressure on the QB, while we face opponents that play to our strengths on defense and get guys like Kirby, Paul, Porter back on defense in time to play more balanced offenses we should be fine.
