If the money is there, we would recruit just fine. NIL is the biggest and baddest recruiter in the game right now.

Pair it with a coach that can do what they're hired to do, win on Saturdays, pay him 8 mil, and we'd be gravy.

The idea thar Mario is the only man in the country who can do it is absolutely ******* absurd. There's a bunch of coaches who would've won more games than his last two efforts.

One being the guy we fired, deservedly so I might add, but the only question is what would the NIL program look like and would it be invested wisely. Are those big donors only Mario fans or are they Miami fans? I'd like to think the latter.

So yes, he needs to win this year. I don't know that the ACC is the ground floor, but we better be close.
 
To make the ACC Championship you probably can only have 1 conference loss since there are no more divisions. Not much room for error. We can’t have the typical Miami Blunder game.

U cant recruit just fine without him that's the myth ya'll got going on. He attracts the talent. This is pointless anyway after this season when we smack teams. And those coaches that recruit like this are all unavailable which UF will find out when they start searching next season, unless they get Urban. And Manny cannot recruit stop it

I think its incorrect to think any coach would run the program internally as good as it seems it is being ran. I am only on the outside looking in. You can have great NIL backing but other things not be up to par. I think Mario is best I have seen so far here. He has faults no doubt as do most. But Mario needs to win in 2024.
 
In 2021 watching pitt in the acc championship game infuriated me. I thought their qb was mediocre, I was so angry Miami could not close out games that year and get themselves there. They beat Pitt handily I thought in season.

Roster was cheeks especially up front. You can lose any game like that. Pretty simple if you ask me

Fun fact. We are competing against schools who also have NIL money. If your HC can’t evaluate or recruit you are SOL.

Yep I know we don't all think we would recruit as well with say Lincoln Riley for instance who everyone would take in a heartbeat over Manny Diaz, just so I am not scraping the bottom of the barrel.
