It looks fine on a classic jersey like usc but not these.

It was a promotional event tonight. Can't have names of players on the back for the event. Against NCAA rules to use current players in ads for private companies. They'll have names on the back for the season

i think that unveiling was put on by Miami. this one was completely paid for by Adidas. we already did away with marquee player numbers being sold and they wont set themselves up for another lawsuit by using a current players name to promote their brand and uniform.

they will. check UMs instagram or twitter (their football one). it has the mock ups with the PLAYER right under the U logo on the back of the jerseys. they will have names on the backs. tonight was a promo event and they wanted to avoid any legal ramifications w using a current players name. it wouldve been cool to have a Sean T's number and name on the mocks tonight as a tribute. idk maybe I'm alone on that front.

If I were a UM player, I wouldn't want my name to be on the back of my jersey to affiliate myself with this current regime either. This is a blessing for them.
