I hope Mark Richt takes some time for some serious self reflection after last night. There is a lot wrong with this program and he needs to get it fixed quick.

Only solution for Rosier is bench him. I firmly believe any of the other 3 would have done better last night. Is no fast cure for the OL..They are turnstiles pretending to be football players. last night in my top 5 of disgusting Cane performances I have ever seen . Yes I have seen a lot of bad games over the years but most were expected. Maybe I bought into the hype too much for this season but this team just laid down last night. Body language does not lie in spite of what the players are saying publically about Rosier. Hope I never see we are back on this board again until they have proven it on the field.

Everything happens for a reason, hope this is the final straw for richt to see rosier isn’t the guy AND he isn’t doing that well in playcalling. Imo our oline while beat a few plays absolutely gave rosier enough time to make plays he just kept missing throws or not playing good football. The rbs had some room and made plays but we just got in a hole we couldn’t come back from. the short fields definitely were a problem but the defense played dumb as **** at the end of the day at times.

I've voiced my opinion that Richt should hire an OC for 2 years now. Rosier should not be a QB for any team certainly The U. Can't continue with Searles OL coach. I see teams do far more with less talent "every" Saturday. You cannot play DB running away from the wide receiver! If the backups worse that Rosier then ****!!!!!!!!!!! Lastly I spent 3 days in Athens to a person they said Richt was too soft and so were his practices and teams. They said Kirby don't give em a break and has physical practices.

Still trying to collect myself after last night. I’m waiting to takeoff after watching live. I want to say that, to me (I was in the end zone) I didn’t think the OL play was as bad as made out to be on here. Rosier was one read-drop head-run. He had guys open everywhere and he missed a lot of throws. Even the passes he completed were off. also am not a fan of outside zone run scheme with a defense as fast as theirs. I didn’t get to (and prob won’t) watch highlights on TV but from view in Jerryworld, I thought Rosier had enough time to distribute the ball and he missed, didn’t see or took off early. A lot of “pressure” was him freaking tf out in the pocket, or so it seemed

Sounds like ole Barry might be a member here. A lot of the same gripes voiced here and the proposed solutions to them appeared in that article.
It does sound like he is a member but the difference is more people will read his article than our posts. I think its a good thing and will put more pressure on Mark to change.

Richt needs to cut back dramatically on all the slow developing, downfield passing if he's going to insist on starting a woefully inaccurate qb behind an offensive line still exhibiting protection issues. The kid just does not fit what you are trying to do. Either change what you do to fit what your qb can give you or you change the qb.

I rewatched the game a couple hours ago and I agree with you about the o-line play. Although they did have their breakdowns in pass protection (mostly due to mental lapses or well designed/disguised blitzes) I thought they actually held up much better than I had feared they would coming into the game. Actually, both our O and D-lines (I especially watched line play since I didn't feel we got physically pushed around last night while watching it live) physically held their own against LSU's and that was good to see. Our S/C program appears like they've done a legit job with our players.

Here we are again with the 3rd down mess AND almost 100 yds in penalties....horrible punting & kicking. Hoping to see Cade Weldon on Sat. GO CANES.....
