And not Florida State contrary to posters constantly saying he's a Noles lock. I guess in other words, a lot of posters on this board don't know jack ****.

You might keep that in your back pocket until the kid actually, you know, signs to play somewhere.

Doesn't matter if it's fsu or sec it's a fail by the staff, true story butch lands this kid. True story

I may be in the minority but to me until we keep kids home we will lose no matter who's coaching, ag sucks but reason being is cuz da fence is wide open. I kno what erone will say too that Ed reed blah blah was a two star, it's 2015 there's rarely gems, and the gem master is butch.

The sad state of the UM fan. All he has left is relishing FSU not being in the final 3 for a recruit that UM wants. UM's not in the final 3 either, but that doesn't matter to the new sad UM fan as long as FSU isn't either.

Miami had enough talent last year to win 10 plus games.

Yes, Golden has missed on some players. But there has been more than enough talent to win 10 plus games. Miami is the second most talented team in the ACC based on star average over the past few years. Furthermore, just look at how many Miami players from the past few years are on NFL rosters and you want to tell me that Miami is losing because of talent? No way.

You need good coaching to win football games. Football is so much more than just putting a bunch of talented players out on the field; those talented players still have to be put in a position to succeed by good coaches. I'm not arguing that talent is not important but you don't have to have a roster of all 5 star players to win. Luckily for Miami, talent will never really be an issue due to its location.

Now there are two exceptions to my statement above. A great QB can hide a terrible coach - see Cam Newton with Chizik, Vince Young with Mack Brown, etc... Or you can be the 2001 Miami Hurricanes. Unfortunately, the odds are that neither one of those things will ever happen. The best plan is to have good coaching and not try and just rely on overwhelming talent to win because eventually you will run up against a team that has great coaching and just enough talent to beat you.

Miami needs to hire a good coach that knows how to utilize that local talent and Miami will win national titles. Miami doesn't need to hire someone that is just a great recruiter. Obviously, the best outcome is to hire a great coach and recruiter. But at the end of the day, Miami needs coaches that can coach the Xs and Os more than it needs a great recruiter.

So, you started a thread to get all excited that a kid has a top 3 that doesn't include FSU.....but also doesn't include us? Brilliant.
