Reading these reports about how mature he is and Gus calling him the quarterback of the defense already is amazing. That means one thing "he is focused". It takes a special kid to come to South Florida and ignore all the temptations. We have had some great ones and we all now that ray is the best ever. But as college goes Shaq is blowing my mind

Relax.... Ray Lewis, Dan Morgan, Jon Vilma, Jon Beason, Sean Spence, DJ Williams, Denzel Perryman just to name a few have done quite well here. Let his career play it first before we make that assumption. He hasn't even played a game yet. He's gonna be great tho!

Easy, man. He's yet to play an actual game in a program with guys like Tiger Clark, Barrow, Darrin Smith, Jessie Armstead, Ray Lewis, Nate Webster, Dan Morgan, Jon Vilma, DJ Williams, Jon Beason, Denzyl Perryman, et al.

Hopefully, I wouldn't be surprised if he's one of the best after his career

This kid is going to be no worse than All-ACC before he's out of here. However, you've got some truly special collegiate linebackers from this school and some of the greatest of all time in the pros. Need to pump the brakes on these expectations by calling him the GOAT. Let him be Shaq and let him start building a resume before we call him a Ray Lewis, Dan Morgan hybrid.

Shaq is a tremendous prospect with great physical traits and an unbelievable work ethic.

He's also an 18 year old kid who has never taken a college snap and we have a poster saying he's going to end up being better than Ray Lewis.

This place is becoming a cesspool.

The est news for Shaq is that Kool is coaching the FOUR linemen in front of him. Kid should do very well and join our flock of greats who played here. Where he ends up will depend on the field.

I don't understand why anyone is hesitant to crown. If you don't already have Shaq and Sambourghini on your all time Miami mount rushmore you are going to miss your seat on the bus.

Slow down sparky
I agree.. slow down..he hasn't played one snap... He still has a mountain to climb..before his name can be mentioned as one of the greats.. and its a bunch ...

I remember Ray Lewis when he was 18 years old before he enrolled and he said he would be the greatest linebacker in the history of University of Miami.
