Shannon after UM commit on Gator bi-week

If we could pick one former coach to be the coach recruiting against UM, I think we would probably unanimously pick Shannon
 
Randy got dem gayters playing defense...Wouldn't be surprised if he doesn't get more than one to flip...Kids will play for Shannon instead of Don'to, because he knows what he's doing...
 
Randy is a very good defensive coach and it's a easy thing to do, to flip a kid from Donut. Wanna play aggressive defense, in the SEC, on national tv and in front of 80,000+ every Saturday? If that appeals to you then which school offers that option? Lets just say not us.

You do know that Shannon doesn't call the plays there right? Geoff Collins is their DC, Shannon is the LBs coach with some extra titles added to his name.

Randy coaches defense better than anyone on this staff.

His Lbs sure look good to at uf. He is co-dc i believe...they didnt have to add those titles to his name...Is Hurlie Brown co-dc here?

He sucked as a hc...but Randy is a solid to abovve avg dc imo. Simple...but solid.
 
Shannon is the LB coach. Nothing more, nothing less.

Agreed... but you can plug in DC's for probably 100 FBS schools to your statement and it would still be true.

The Onion is exhibit A on how easy it is to coach D if you recruit SoFL talent. Turn the Dline loose, let the LBs run and make plays, put the CB's on islands, let savage S's hit.
