I know this is a canes page and all but I was just searching through bleacher report and came across this:Report: Joe Philbin wanted to replace Dolphins' Tannehill - Phin Phanatic - A Miami Dolphins Fan Site - News, Blogs, Opinion and more.

And this:Gase to address Dolphins' quarterback-head coach relationship | Miami Dolphins In Depth

I'm not a big supporter of Ryan tannehill, but I believe he's better than a lot of other options and it seems to me that he purposely tried to sabotage him behind closed doors because his offense wasn't working to make himself look better and Stephen Ross let it continue and then gave Ryan a contract knowing he had no support

Derek Carr is a beast. They should have drafted competition for Tannehill, Philbin was right.
yea but that really isn't what I'm trying to highlight. I'm trying to highlight the dysfunction that Stephan Ross let go on in that building and how can you elect not to fire this man in 2014 who was obviously a cancer but also knowingly give Ryan an extension knowing your own coach doesn't like him. It's mind boggling

Philbin should've been fired after that whole bully gate.. Lost control of locker room long before he was let go

Ross has let morons run his team. Drafts, FA signings and coaching choices are Browns-worthy

Philbin should have been fired after that episode on Hard Knocks where he was *****ing about the players throwing athletic tape on the floor of the locker room. These guys are in the middle of two a days and this douche bag, skelator looking ************ is complaining about ******* tape?

Knew it then that he wasn't head coach material.

He was a freaking head coach with no tesiticles.

How are you going to say that about Tannehill ( not saying what he said is not valid) and yet you are the man in charge of the team and wouldn't start Moore. He should of never been a head coach if it wasn't for Ross not knowing what the **** he was doing, he probably got hired bcuz him and Ross are probably in the same age range

dude got rid of arguably our best 1st rounder in a decade because he took bathroom breaks during practice

A couple of things. None of this is the least bit surprising to me. Philbin should have been fired as soon as all that garbage with Incognito and Martin came out. Only a clown would tolerate the type of culture that would breed something like that no matter who was right. As soon as that bullying stuff came out I knew immediately that Philbin was a cancer.

None of this surprises me, either. This is a great example to illustrate how dysfunctional this organization is. If you strongly believe that Tannehill is the guy and the head coach is wrong, then you need to get rid of the coaches and bring someone in who is willing to work with Tannehill. Otherwise, you need to bring in competition for Tannehill, not give him a massive contract extension when the coaches don't like him and don't want him.

Of course, if you're Joe Philbin, then how do you not bench Tannehill at least once for Matt Moore? Continuing to play a guy that you don't want and don't trust for multiple seasons is just mindblowingly dumb...
