Serious question - is the whole season on the line tomorrow(BC game)?

and no, Im not talking about a playoff birth(thats no longer on the table) or anything like that but my view is that if Miami loses tomorrow in Chestnut Hill - this whole season goes downhill. And stuff like recruiting becomes an issue with the tsunami of negativity that will be on the way soon afterwords.

If Richt can somehow get this team to 10 wins or so, you could make an argument that this was still a very productive season and something to build on

Lose and honestly, who knows what rock bottom is. I think GAtech, the Hokies and Pitt will all be fairly tough and with this offense, well, nothing is a sure-thing this season

Am, I completely off-base here?

No, you’re not. People think it’s toxic now... lose at BC tomorrow night and see what it feels like.

Not at all we have to finish better than FSU and the coastal is still very attainable

No not off base and Simple answer YES to the thread question. We lose and we might as well pack it in cause we have nothing left to play for.

to lose even two games with this particular regular season schedule is inexcusable....

Don't underestimate Richt defenders, they will find a way to make it excusable. That's a guarantee like death and taxes.

We have to win out.

I couldn't bare dropping another game and reading threads about formulas that will be needed in order to make the ACCCG.

Absolutely, 100% a must win. We have to get back to the ACCCG. Otherwise, with this schedule, it is a major step back. FSU and VT are having very subpar years. You have to capitalize on that.

Agreed, we win and I could see this ship being righted. Lose and Richt is Captain Queeg

But UM is now on a tight rope without a safety net the rest of the way

No. It was on the line at UVA. Now we are just seeing if mark can lose enough games to get a bad enough bowl game so he can win.

0 question. Tomorrow is do or die especially with VT taking a beating tonight. I don’t see Virginia losing 2 more. Maybe 1.
