Our kicking game is crap and part of it is the **** poor attention given to blocking on kicks, which isn't Bubba's problem, but he looked like a frightened little coquette as he attempted that last kick. I KNEW he was going to miss despite hitting a longer one earlier in the game. It's just too **** important to futz around with if Manny really wants to turn his first season into one that he can build upon.

So, can Spicer placekick? Can Headley? Any walk-ons?

To be honest....

I looked at and reviewed the film. 2x Yes its's the former coach in me lol I think we may need to change place holder.... If you re watch the film you will see what I'm talking about. The holder timing is way off when he spins it. Looks likes his fingers are not being placed accurately before the ball is let go. He looks nervous.

I agree with you. The holder did not get the ball turned around on that final kick. Also, and I'm sure some of you will call me crazy for this, on that 3rd down before the final kick I said out loud if it was me I'd run middle, hopefully pick up a few yards, but either way get us centered because Bubba had already hit a long one with Room to spare but he has missed a bunch from the hashes this year. Instead we threw, incomplete, and Bubba hit his kick basically perfectly straight… from the left hash. Hindsight is 20/20 but I would have gotten that ball centered.

The problem is even a good kicker is going to get in his head when he's under pressure every single kick. He's not the best, but put any kicker in and his season % is probably going to be at least 10-20% lower than it should be because he's seeing the line crumble in front of him every single time.
