[Hurracanes]

Was the last time Miami beat FSU at home. Had you told me on that date we wouldn’t beat them at home for at least a 13 years, I would have laughed at your face. Such a mind boggling fact. I grew up in an era where the words “at Miami” was feared by our rivals and our opponents put that game down as a L.

Additionally, 9/10/04, was that last time Miami won back to back games vs. FSU. Another disturbing fact.

A new era begins on October 6, 2018.

Home field advantage is back. Correct me if I’m wrong but I believe we’ve won 12 straight at the ROCK.

It's hard to think that the Canes would ever sleep on FSU, but there are so many things to underestimate about them. On the surface their entire coaching staff looks like trash. The OL looks like trash. Their turnover gimmick looks like trash.

Our new QB has a lot of promise. Our Defense played lights out and Gene Chiizik said he's not seen anything like it all year.

All this seems to add up to inflated expectations from us. I would hate to see the fanbase, or the team to come out flat for our biggest regular season game of the year.

I'd love nothing more than to see Miami drub the team from trailerhassee, but I see this being a low scoring affair and Miami pulling away in the 2nd half. Both teams will be up for this game. By no means will this be a walk in the park. I'm excited to see who how N'kosi handles the pressure and big game atmosphere. This game, like many others, will come down to the trenches though. Our OL has got to open up lanes for the run game and keep #5 clean. GO CANES!
